Ai Yokoyama McCarthy

Ai Yokoyama McCarthy started this journey over 20 years ago.

“My passion became my job. I always suspected that my path would lead me here, finally opening my own salon. I couldn’t have done it without my dear friends, loyal customers, and loved ones’ support.”

Ai has worked and trained in esteemed salons in Japan, UK and US. In 2000 she was named one of “The best upcoming stylist” in Portland. Ai is licensed in cosmetology, aesthetic, nail, and permanent cosmetic tattooing.

STYLISTS

Yuka Shiraishi Grenfell

Yuka completed the training at Vidal Sassoon in London in 2002 and obtained Japan’s national license as a beautician. After working at Mod’s Hair, one of the leading salons in Japan, she obtained the Washington State license in 2011 and worked at Adore hair salon for 5 years. She continues to provide an excellent service now at “berry berry”.
